Replacing video card

Hello,
I need to replace the video card in my Gateway DX4710-09, can I take one out of another tower or do I have to buy a new specifically for this model? Thank you. Lauren

Yes, you can take one out of the same type of computer...
If it's not the same computer model, then you just need to make sure it's a PCI-E 16X video card (which most modern video card are).

Thank you....I am assuming that I need to uninstall the other one, pop the new one in and let it get drivers for it, or just plug and replace?
