Definitely for the enthusiast. Hardware has surpassed the capability of the software yet again. Considering most have one or two monitors; needing five monitors to push a single card...While sweet...I think I'll pass.

I agree with others here, I'd be interested in an ultra wide curved screen, but not multiple monitors. The bezel ruins it for me, even thinner ones.

Awesome news. This means I get to hold out for another week and see the benchmarks of this card then make my move. It will either be this, GTX 690, Titan, 680SLI or the new MSI 7970 OC TFIII..decision decision! And they better price this right. Imagine if they were to sell this for $700-800?

Multi-monitor gaming is pretty pointless since most of your attention is focused on what's directly in front of you i.e in the middle. This is proven science. But you don't really need science for proof; notice how no one ever games with an even number of monitors? It's always an odd number of monitors. Why? Because there's always a monitor in the middle, where 95% of your attention will be.

Totally agree - I'd much rather have a 2650x1440 or a 2650x1080 monitor than 3x1080p monitors. Maybe just as expensive, but games would run more smoothly.
