Hi! I have a 512gb M.2 NVME SSD with Windows 10 system installed on. It has EFI, Recovery and System partitions.

Windows reports it has 476gb total storage and 46.5gb free space and 429gb used space.

However when I choose all files and folders including hidden and protected files in C drive, properties dialog shows 335gb. There is a 94gb of difference.

Anybody has any ideas why? Thanks in advance.

Solution
On my system (500GB SSD C drive), there is a 20GB discrepancy between simply selecting all in FIle Explorer, and what WizTree shows.
235GB vs 255GB.

This is Normal. What you see in File Ex is NOT all of what is there.
Thanks for you reply.
I had to uninstall COD MW, which took up around 200gb, to have some more space so it changed from previous ones.

It's as below atm.

SSD total: 476gb
Used: 221
Free: 255
Actual used storage when I choose all files and folders in C: 126gb
Difference: 95gb

Here is the Screenshot from Wiztree:

Thanks man. It was bugging me for a while. I guess Windows uses an extra 95gb which I can not see in file explorer as you suggested.

Edit: Compared what the file explorer shows me and What Wiztree shows and the one to blame was WindowsApps folder in Program Files.
Interestingly windows file explorer does not add it to sum. It has around 92gb (Forza 4 and some other apps)
Thanks again.
