Repurpose Samsung Evo 850 in Macbook Pro for use in a Windows Desktop?

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded the HDD to a Samsung 750EVO SSD in my 2011 Macbook Pro, however the LCD recently died on that Macbook and I replaced it with a new one. My question is, I also have a windows desktop, and instead of wasting the new SSD in my dead Macbook is it possible to reformat it for my windows PC and use it as the bootable drive in my desktop running WIndows 10?
