I have a client that recently purchased a Xerox 8845 XES without a Controller or scanner. They are now trying to hook it up to a computer. We have tried 2 different SCSI cards, and we can't get them to detect the printer on POST. What I need to know is if this printer needs a special controller card, or if you can only use the Controller Console that comes with it. If anyone out there is familiar with this model.. or even better, has field service manuals for this model, I would really appreciate it if you would contact me. TIA, --Trel
