The second one should be a good match. Although you might want an RM750x. For a bit more headroom for overclocking.

As for the first one. It depends on the uses. For general usage. It's fine. But for GPU intensive tasks. Such as gaming. There's definitely a mismatch between the GPU and CPU.

Personally, I'd double the RAM on each build. As they're a little light.

I don't think either one is more prone to failure than the other.
This comes down to what do you want to do with the machine.

PC1 is for my mom - mainly use for browsing and pictures editing.
PC2 is for my home - mainly use for browsing, Ps CS6, "light" gaming and some cad drawing.

thanks again :~)

What kind of gaming does your mom do? If her usage is anything like my mom's, a discrete GPU may not be necessary (my mom does have a GTX 1070, but that's only because I always have a lot of parts just hanging around).

The one for gaming is not for my mom, it's for my home. Her old pc was built, 9 years ago, with i3 2120 3.3Ghz and no gpu. This time, after all those years, i thought it will be better to add a gpu to the list.
