Requesting a little advice

Simply need suggestion for the current system.

Currently owning an Athlon-700mhz slotA computer. Is it worth it at all to upgrade to a 900mhz or 1Ghz AMD? Does the speed gain justify the money spent on the new CPU? Will the speed gain be even noticeable or of much significance for what I use the system for? I am not a big gamer so gaming perforamace is not much of my concern, but I do require/desire speed for other types of applications, some tasks almost mainly on the CPU.

If your current system is running fine, stick with it. The performance gain you will see from the extra 200mhz won't be that big. Save your money and wait till higher speeds are available at lower costs.
