Even though you have given ASUS mobo as preferrance, I would suggest this Gigabyte board -
Gigabyte EX58-UD4P
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=35757&vpn=GA%2DEX58%2DUD4P&manufacture=Gigabyte

Reason -
1. Nearly the same price...
2. Has better features...
3. Has both SLI and crossfire support unlike ASUS (Only Crossfire)

Some faster RAM...
G.SKILL F3-12800CL8T-6GBPI PC3-12800 6GB 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL8-8-8-21
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=36168&vpn=F3%2D12800CL8T%2D6GBPI&manufacture=G%2ESkill

CASE - 2 Options
1. CM 690
2. Antec 300

Some faster RAM...
G.SKILL F3-12800CL8T-6GBPI PC3-12800 6GB 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL8-8-8-21

+1 on faster ram, either go with this recommendation or these below.

OCZ XMP Ready Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop $110.99 CAD
(Before $10.00 USD Mail-In Rebate)

G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel F3-12800CL8TU-6GBPI $109.99 CAD

Now on the Case, if you decide to get one. On the Core i7 you will want one with great airflow, here are 4, I would recommend below.

Antec Nine Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $129.99 CAD
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129058

Antec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case $199.99 CAD
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129043

The CM Cases allow you to be able to change CPU HSF without taking out motherboard, if you do not need back-plate.
COOLER MASTER HAF 922 RC-922M-KKN1-GP $129.99 CAD
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197

COOLER MASTER HAF 932 RC-932-KKN1-GP $164.49 CAD
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160

Good Luck on your upcoming build.
