Installing on new apu and motherboard, performing disk part clean and it does not detect the drive, help?

Are you installing Windows 7? I have seen this happen with Windows 7 installation, even if there is no CD/DVD drive. Is your Windows 7 disk SP1 or just Windows 7. I have found that this issue does not happen on SP1 disks

Win 7 sp1 64bit the DVD drive is a pnp USB drive and I've been using it for installing win7 for years. It is a certified original win7 install disk.
