Are there differences?
I tried out the public demo, with 2 levels, and it went smooth a lot,
but since my PC is not a bomb I ended up with this doubt: is the demo
someway "more optimized" or "less demanding" than the game? Are there
many scenes where the FPS count goes down through the floor?
I use an AMD XP1800+ with 1Gig DDR333 on a A7V333, video card is a
Radeon 9600 Pro 256, I should be fine enough but the doubt is still
here.

There are some very demanding scenes in the full game compared to the
demo, my guess is your pc will be pushed to the limit during the
strider battles later in the game.

Dunno, I have the full game so can't play the demo.

It will run fine on your machine, framerates are pretty consistent
throughout the game.

I agree - the later levels when you have a squad following you around and
the battles with the striders are a lot more demanding but I reckon you
ought to be able to play okay at 800x600 medium settings.

Yep. I have an Athlon 2800+/Radeon9800Pro/512RAM, and the strider
battles brought the framerates down noticably, although not unplayably.

I haven't seen the demo yet. Is it simply the first level or so of the
actual game, or is it different?
Thanks.
