Requirements to install a ATI graphics card

Hi,im intrested in buying a radeon R7 260x 2gb ddr5 graphics card.all i want to know is to install a ATI graphics card do i need a AMD motherboard and processor.please help.

No you don't need an AMD CPU or motherboard. Just need a PSU that will be able to provide enough power for the GPU (preferably a 500-550W minimum) and a case that will fit the GPU (most mid case will fit without a problem).

For the r7 260x all you need is a Pcie slot and one 6 pin adapter to power it on your PSU, 450w is the minimum and it must have 19 amps on the 12v rail. And once you do that just go to amds website and get the latest drivers.
