Hi guys,

I am wondering what is needed to run games at maximum settings.
I currently run Arma 3 on low settings (as low as I an go) and the game runs perfectly smooth and no lag.

My current specs are:
GeForce GT 620
AMD A6-5499K APU with Radeon HD Graphics
4 GB RAM
Windows 8
Currently using a single LG Flatron E2351 LED monitor

I really want to be able to view games at max settings to experience their full potential.
I am using a HP Pavilion Desktop (If any help)

Thanks heaps.

Solution
You gotta get a better GPU, something like a 7770/GTX 660 Ti/7850/R9 280X/GTX 770/GTX 780/7990 and a minimum of 8GB ram with a decent power supply.
You actually need a completely new PC if you want to play most games with max settings @ 1920x1080 resolution. One exception will be Crysis 3 which can basically bring any expensive rig to it's knees. C3 needs more powerful hardware than what is currently available to max it out and also get better than decent performance... just like how the original Crysis was when it was 1st released.

Your graphics card is obviously weak and so is the AMD A6 APU. You really need an AMD FX CPU or even better, an Intel CPU. It's best to either get a custom gaming PC built for you (like cyberpowerpc http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/), or to build the PC yourself.

Thanks heaps. Only thing about a new pc is that for most half decent ones, they are well above my price range.....
