Hi, looking at laptop deals, hoping to buy soon and asking for opinions. I have a full description of what I'm looking for below, but in a nutshell:
Windows machine that is suitable for large dataset wrangling (viewing and manipulating big *.csv or excel files), pilot analyses (usually R), and having a bunch of web browser tabs open. Heavy duty analyses will be done remotely by wifi to a computer cluster.
Running Baldur's Gate 3 or similar games would be a cherry on top, but not critical. I'll be commuting with it often, so at least okay build/weight/batt life would be nice.
Any thoughts of gems or lemons in this list? Open to your other suggestions!
$650, MSI Modern 15
$750, Asus Vivobook 15X
$789, HP TPN
$799, Asus Vivobook 16
$850, Dell Inspirion 15
Thanks!!
