Reset bios after failed over clock. Rig rendered useless!

I am posting from my Nvidia shield. After a failed auto-optimize from Asus suite 3 I had to set bios to default. Now the rig won't start. I can't get back to bios and my monitor gets no signal. What the hell do I do now?!!!!

Have you used the 'clear cmos' jumper? Near the corner of your mobo there's a jumper switch marked CLRTC, move the jumper from pins 1&2 to pins 2&3, leave for 10 seconds, put back to 1&2 and plug power back in

turned out my cheap air cooler was damaged by a power surge. I replaced it with a Noctua NH-L12 Low profile cooler (Best cooler I could fit in my case. this got discovered after removing battery from motherboard and replacing it again.
