I have been having trouble with my DVI port on my Nvidia GTX 960 so I've been trying to figure that out and I reset my MSI 970 gaming motherboard to to bios optimized defaults and now the computer does not display anything.
Do I do that by taking out the CMOS batteries because since the computer doesn't display I can't load the default like I did earlier
There is almost certainly a re-set CMOS jumper on the motherboard. It will be documented in your motherboard manual.
Move the jumper to the clear CMOS setting. Turn the PC on.
Turn the PC off, return the jumper to it's original position.
Yes and I even reseated the memory and for this DVI issue I had the graphics card replaced it was working before but I just reset the bios to see if that would fix the DVI issue
What I mean is I manually reset the settings in the Bios itself it was working earlier today and then I just did this to see if that would fix the DVI issue
