Reset installation placement

Is there a way to make windows 'forget' where I installed something, I know it sounds shady but it's really not.

I am currently trying to re-install Fl Studio because I installed it in the wrong place and windows is only showing me the incorrect place now. IE: I want it to go BACK to the default install location and I'm too much of a newb to figure it out. =(

Please help.

It does not give me an option for the default location, it only shows the location I previously installed at.

No, it'll let me pick a location but I am unsure of the default locations. Like, Is it C:\Program Files\blah blah blah? Or will C:\Program Files be good enough to do it? Supposedly this program is reaaaally picky about locations. I'm sorry if this is coming off as a newbie question..

Dammit, I looked for a 1/2 hour trying to find that info! Ugh..

Okay. I really appreciate your patience, SchizTech..

Thank you.
