I note that the Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2 case does not have a front panel "Reset" button. Is this likely to cause an issue? If the PC freezes, I guess one can use the power on / off button.

Any thoughts please?

Well some motherboards have reset buttons on them. Although opening up your case to push it would be time consuming. But pushing the power button wont hurt your computer, it will just make it go through the whole posting procedure. And in the days of hard drives this was a time consuming proposition because it too so long for the hd to come up to speed and load the os. But now with the ssd on board the whole process takes maybe 15-20 seconds nowadays. So using the power button to reset your computer isn't a big deal anymore.

How very true! I am looking at Asus Crosshair VII MB and it has

  1. Power-on button;
  2. Reset button;
  3. Safe_Boot button and
  4. Retry Button.

All on the Motherboard! For a tower case on the floor, this is very Convenient to open the case to access these!
