thanks in advance,
You had Win 7. Fully activated?
And then you Upgraded to Win 10? Again, fully activated?
And now you wish to "reset" the OS?
In the same system?
If all of the above is true, no, you will NOT lose the Win 10 license.

thanks for the fast reply! Yes, my previous system was win7 with "windows is activated" in the system properties, and also yes currently my windows 10 also properties says "windows is activated with a digital license"
Reset means basically (in windows 10) deletes every single program installed on the disks and then re-installs the windows automatically, best thing about this feature is fully automated process and does not ask for setup CD

Yes, I know what the Win 10 Reset means.
And people here misuse it every single day. So verification is often needed...
Not only the above, but you could do a CLEAN INSTALL if you wanted. The license is registered on a server, and if you wiped everything and reinstalled your system would login with Microsoft and automatically activate your license again.
(you do NOT enter the key either. You SKIP that)
*So as long as you don't change the motherboard to a different socket you're fine.
