Resolution mismatch! Change device's resolution

My setup includes a HDMI splitter. My main monitors resolution is 1920X1080 and it displays fine, but my Emerson 1366 x 768 monitor gives me the error "Resolution mismatch! Change device's resolution". When I go to Display Settings, my main monitor is the only monitor detected, so I can't change the resolution.

An HDMI splitter will send the same signal to both monitors. You can't change them independently. You can set the overall resolution to 720p or 768 but you would have to use discrete connections back to the graphics card to configure them independently.

Ok go buy hdmi cable with rca plugs the other end (red white yellow)
