Resolution problem with my 1080p tv

Hey I have a Sony full HD TV
And my graphics card is hd 6670 1gb gddr5 via version
And when connected my TV to my pc it's shows 1368 x 768 recommend resolution but my tv is full HD and when use full HD the screen blurs




Please help me how do I get recommend full HD resolution for my TV I connect my TV through hdmi port

Right click on desktop and go to resolution. There should then be an option to set the resolution of the output to 1080p.
Also, what method of connection are you using? Try another cable, incase it is a fault with an outdated cable.

If no luck , uninstall your GPU drivers using http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html and then install the latest ones from http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

update your graphics card drivers to the newist or buy a newer gpu thats now very powerfull but should be able to run 1080p

I have latest version of drivers and the cable is new and I use hdmi

It may be then the limitation of your GPU. it is very old and may not be able to power a large 1080p display.

No it supports 1080p monitor but it supports the 1080p TV but recommend resolution is 1368 x 768
And I select the 1080p setting it blurs a little bit

i think its simply a case of that pc does not have a 1080p driver for that particular tv i know i have a 4k tv but when i plug in my pc i only get 1080p even tho my gpu can handle 2560x1600

It's not problem of TV motion blur it's problem of recommend settings
Try to use a non recommend resolution in your pc and see what type of blur I was talking about

Just put a low resolution in your pc then recommend

by the way on sources what mode is it on movie tv avi game BEcause it should be on pc mode

Should I buy a dvi to hdmi adapter should this work

oh yea i did that when the 1080p screen didnt fill the screen that fixed it i use nvidia now so i have never got a driver or optimisation issue

Wait so if you put it on 1920x1080 what happens?

check the Screen refresh rate, if it is set in 60Hz
