Resolution stuck at 1080p for games

Please Please help!!!!

I have a ASUS R542U Laptop

Specs:
i5 8th gen
GT 940MX 2GB
8GB DDR4
#######################

None of my game is showing resolution other than 1920 x 1080, here are images of two game's graphic setting menu Please check this images
1. Arkham Origins

Same with FIFA 18, Hitman 2016, Witcher 3

I don't know why is this happening, updating the drivers haven't helped.

Note this is happening in games only and not in OS,

Try switching from full screen to borderless or windowed and back to full screen.

Yeah i did it for Hitman but as soon as i change to full screen from windowed the resolution changes back to 1080p. Could this be something with intel drivers because of which i am not getting any option other than 1080p ?
