[SOLVED] resolution vs hz

hi i am looking to upgrade my 1080p 144hz monitor. I was wondering if i should upgrade to a 4k 60hz monitor or a 1440p 144hz-155hz monitor. I plan on getting a 3080 btw so fps should not be a problem

I mean, that is totally down to your preference and what you desire for what budget.

In my personal opinion, 4K is overrated, and is often just not worth the budget you tend to set aside for it, in gaming terms, it doesn't really give me much. I personally think a high refresh rate 1440p is perfect and no more is ever needed in gaming.

But some will disagree with me.
