I am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate onto a brand new computer. (the motherboard is Asus Rampage IV Extreme.
The mouse and keyboard work absolutely fine in the BIOS. But when I boot to the Windows 7 installation DVD and it arrives at the first prompt, the keyboard and mouse have no effect whatsoever. I can't 'tab' through selections. Can't hit enter to move to the next prompt. Can't see a cursor. It's as if the mouse and keyboard don't even exist at this point.
They are both USB and wireless and work on other computers just fine.
