resonable replacement

had to rma : Gainward GF4-4200 8x 128 mb
golden sample (3.6ns ram)
was told if they dont have an exact repl. they
would offer a "comparable" card
what do you think would be fair ???
5700 series , 9600 series ??

9600XT>9600pro>5700Ultra, if they offer anything lower, don't take it. Screw non-pro/non-ultra.

Normally they're replace it with a card of equal/greater value. Value is based on RETAIL PRICE, not performance, so that means the 5200/5200U/etc. Performance doesn't matter in their scheme.

I'd still insist on equal or better performance. Fight it out with them as best you can.

its from newegg , they're good about this stuff
yes your right about value part , but , if they offer
some 5200 / 9200 etc.
I'd have to say no
what it is , is ,
3 yr warranty
1st year send back to store
year 2-3 send back to manufacturer
may have to send back to Gainward
