That's VERY Reasonable. I have seen UBER quality meats going to a
ludicrious sums like 100+ CR per unit.
As a Master BE I have to say that making my Food Nutrients.... the
ONLY product that BE's find ANY sort of demand for now... takes 20
units of meat each for the Medium and Heavy nutrients. Most chefs want
to buy in full factory runs of 1000 units of nutrients at a time. That
comes up to 20K meat a factory run... Now if I am paying say 100
Credits a unit fro the meat then I am hitting like 2 MILLION credits
cost JUST in the meat alone. To be honest, a food nutrient is doing
GREAT to sell for 30K a case of 25 units. To expand the math a little
that's 40 cases per full factory run of 1000 total units....
40 cases * 30K each only = 1.2 Million..... If I had to pay the 100
Credits a unit for meat like some folks try to charge, I would loose
my butt in a week!
I will pay as high as 10 credits for REALLY good meat. That would be
meat in the 900+ range in any TWO of the following... Flavor, OQ or
Potential Energy. Those are the big three for Bio Engineers!
