Resource Quality Question

Some things in the architect profession, houses in particular, specify
resource characteristics that are important. Houses specify decay
resistance, and most of the components specify unit toughness. But as
far as I can tell, one house is the same as any other.

If I make a house with all DR=1 UT=1 resources, is it actually going
to be any different than one made with DR=1000 UT=1000 resources?

For houses and furniture the resource quality currently doesn't make any difference.

There was talk of making the Maintenance rate experimentable at one time.
