hi,
making things short, i own this lcd tv
says 100hz, 2.4ms.
technically speaking 2.4ms response means 2.4/1000 second or 1000/2.4 responses (frames) per second = 416.666 frames per second

then why is it rated 100hz?

if they are both unrelated, how is the 100 determined?

help plz

Solution
the response time and refresh rate are not the same. The refresh rate is the number of times the image is displayed per second and the response time is how fast the pixals go from white to color. The higher the hz the better the refresh rate The less milliseconds there are the better the response time.
