Restart issue.

Hi guys,

I just built a new computer but when I turn the computer on, it'll start for a few seconds, switch off and then start normally. I'm not sure why it does that.

I am having the exact same problem...

Asus P8Z69 - pro
2600k

This can occur if any settings in the bios have been changed - the system will reboot a few seconds after initial power up. You can try changing the bios settings to default, save and exit. See if this resolves the issue. Also you can try clearing cmos settings by removing battery (or removing jumper on some boards - check your manual). Then replace battery/jumper, power up - enter bios - enter new time and date - save settings and exit.

I have cleared cmos several times and set bios to default. Every several attempts I am able to boot it. I also noticed, once in a while the CPU led will stay on and I have to reboot it manually.

Sorry didn't mean to hijack the post, but I am willing to bet money that nsol also has an ASUS z68....
