Restart Loop, No idea what the issue could be

Woke up 2 mornings ago to my pc on but the screen black. Tried to restart, tried new hdmi cord, a different monitor and still the screen was receiving a signal but it was just black. Afterwards used another pc to test my power supply and gpu, both of which were working fine. Eventually was able to access the bios and get to the point where i could login to my pc but once i tried my screen just went black and it continued to reboot. Uninstalled and reinstalled windows and still same issue. It now can log on windows and sit at desktop, but after about 3-4 mins reboots again. Completely lost on what could be the issue. Any ideas?

is not a monitor issue as does same thing with different monitor. does your motherboard have onboard video besides a videocard? have you tried resetting the cmos to factory defaults?

Motherboard does not have onboard video, and i'm not sure about the reset, how would i go about doing that?

Done, still same issue though, at desktop for a few minutes and computer restarts.

check in the bios for "hardware" or "health" monitor to see what the cpu temp is at.
