Hello,

This is a longshot I know. Is there a standard amount of
time between which Microsoft would recommend rebooting?
Does anyone know if they've made any disclaimers on
system instability after a certain amount of time.

Cheers,
Dave

If there are no memory leaks, there is no need to restart.
You can monitor the "Commit Charge" fields in Task Manager,

Having to restart a box regularly typically indicates there is a problem.
You only need to restart when necessary like after installing a
patch/hotfix/program that asks for the restart. If your system seems to run
better after a restart it is because of what was posted earlier typically.
