I recently build a computer and just transferred it up to school with me from back home. At home it was working very well and no problem, but the first night I got to school, it randomly started restarting every so often, just while playing a game and watching YouTube. The motherboard didn't turn off, but the system just restarted with any obvious error messages. I checked the event viewer, and found what seems to be the basic problem, and this is the report:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000501, 0x0000000000000500, 0xfffff80024204370). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: a04ff19e-e852-47dd-b528-9e1170151806.
I don't have access to the memory dump report either.
I don't have an activated copy of windows, which is my first thought when trying to figure out the problem, but I want to be relatively sure that it's not a hardware problem before splurging 200 bucks on windows 10 pro.
Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO/Whetstone LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 Z170 ATX Motherboard
Graphics card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti FTW2 GAMING 08G-P4-6775-KR, 8GB GDDR5 iCX
CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 3.8 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80677I57600K Desktop Processor
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Intel Z170 Platform / Intel X99 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-2400C15D-16GVB
Power Supply: CORSAIR RMx Series RM850X 850W 80 PLUS GOLD Haswell Ready Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V SLI
I figured these were the most important, but if there's any other ideas from smaller parts, let me know. As well as the restarting, which it hasn't been doing at all today, noticeably anyway, I seem to lose internet connection when I try to launch blizzard games (overwatch and Hearthstone are the ones that I have tried), and never is actually able to launch the game. Thanks for any help I can get
