My old (like me) all-in-one computer died recently. I had a 2TB WD My Passport Ultra backing up my computer, but since getting another Windows 10 all-in-one, I have plugged in the Passport Ultra hoping to retrieve and copy some important items. I think the system was also backed up on it.
Anyway, when I click on the Passport in My PC, I cannot access any files. When I try to use WD Backup to restore to a folder it says there’s nothing to restore. Yet, it shows that there is 179 GB free of 1.8 TB.
Disk Management shows the Passport as 1862.98 GB NTFS, and Healthy (Basic Partition). I have no idea what I should do to be able to see what is actually there and restore files. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.
