Restore sound on ivideo

I videotaped my son with my finger over the speaker on my iPhone! - how can I restore the volume to it's original sound, as I can hardly hear it?!

If you have access to a PC, download and install Audacity. It's free and quite powerful. It has an online manual to help. Import the audio into Audacity and then select it all and use 'normalize' from the effects menu.
