Hello,

Windows 10 is installed in C drive in a Samsung SSD.

I have done macrium reflect incremental backup everyday.

Assuming today (18 Sept) the PC while using halfway it suddenly stuck and blue screen appear and auto restart then during starting it keeps hanging at the windows logo, can I use remove the existing Samsung SSD, plug in a new Samsung SSD then use macrium reflect to restore whole C drive backup done on 17 Sept, so that I can get back everything like the normal state just before the PC become faulty? Any idea how long it takes to restore (the SSD is 250GB and contains windows and programs installed only)?

Thank you

If you have a fairly modern processor, it should take less than an hour.

Maybe less than 15 minutes.

It depends on your CPU speed and the size of the image you will restore and the speed of the new drive.

BUT...................it might not solve your problems. You may have issues unrelated to Windows and unrelated to your old drive.

If the problem is Windows problem or old drive problem, after restore from macrium reflect I will get back a working Windows just like the day the backup was done?

Can you name some examples what are the issues unreleated to Windows and unrelated to your old drive?

Thanks

That's what Macrium and other backup programs are for. If you made full disk backup when you restore it it should be same as at backup time. Normally you choose last incremental backup.
Unrelated issues with CPU and RAM are possible.
