Restored computer to factory settings and now I have 3 large hard drives?

Before I had only C which was less than 100GB and pretty much used up by bloatware and other pre-installed essential programs, and D which was a little over 100GB and totally empty. Now I have C with over 500GB and very little used (mostly my stuff), D with over 100GB totally unused and E with nearly 400 of unused GB... Can someone please explain what happened? I mean, I'm happy about this but just a bit confused.

Also, the computer is working perfectly fine...

Before you restored, your hdd was simply not partitioned to make use of all the space. I think you have a 1 TB HDD so the numbers you list seems fine.
