In clearing up my C drive, I thought it would be possible
to remove only some games from my start menu--but I find
I have lost them all! And I am addicted to Spider
Solitaire!! How can I get it back?

Hi Carol,
what happens if you open Start / Run:
type spider in and confirm it with Enter

If it opens:
just create the shortcuts again;
Right click Start / Explore and create a shortcut with a path to (target):
%SystemRoot%\System32\spider.exe

If it doesn't open
Control panel / Add Remove Programs / Add Remove Windows Components /
Accessories and Utilities / Games
