Hello,
I had BSOD issues with Windows 10 so I reinstalled the whole thing, and fortunately that fixed it. However, it seems my file permissions are all wrong now. I can read and write everywhere like before in Explorer, but programs I install cannot.
I know this is the case because software that I've been using for a long time throws errors when accessing files and this does not happen if I run the program as an administrator. I wish I could solve this as I would rather not have to run nearly all my software as an administrator if it's not needed.
I tried following a guide to "take ownership" of a folder and files I was accessing through a program, however it didn't seem to make any difference.
All replies are appreciated,
Kai
