I started tweaking my regristry. To make my modem faster.
I just dont know how to restore it back to the way it was
yesterday. Windows keeps back ups for the past 5 days
but I dont know how to restore it from the day before.
Thanks for your help.

If you are referring to WinME's system restore, go to Start Menu->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore to load up the program.
Then choose something like "restore from a previous checkpoint," and select the appropriate checkpoint.

Well,

If its Windows ME, do what Arrow has said - use System Restore. If you can't even start Windows, or you are working in Windows 98 - goto DOS mode (either use Startup F5/Ctrl keys OR use a startup floppy), and run:

1. SCANREG - will scan your registry for errors and will allow you to restore previously backed up registries.

2. REGEDIT - will allow you to manually edit back the changes.
