I have been tasked with reactivating a selex sg-950 large form plotter. This selex, hailing back from 1997, is a great printing device, or so my boss seems to think. Anyway he wants it running... 😗
The only problem is that the manufacturer Copyer CO Ltd went south (actually merged with canon) back in '03 and so far it seems that there are NO FREE drivers available for this printer.
I have been able to find supplies for it, which is good, but no driver. What I have found are a few RIP (raster image processing) software packages which also come with a driver for the device. Unfortunately the RIP software vendors also wanna rip me off, one of them asked 2999 $ for the software. All I need is 1 driver, not the whole package......................I wouldn't mind paying something for this driver but not that much.
So could you guys help me out on this? I've already been to the major driver dl sites and no joy....He who finds me a driver for this thing gets a cookie
