Resurrection and advantage?

Because of a racial template in a game I'm about to play in, I've been
thinking about the Resurrection advantage. It doesn't seem like all that
much of an advantage to me. I guess I can see why the character would like
it, but to the player and to the game, it almost seems like a disadvantage.

Basically, you're out the use of 150 points that don't do any good unless
you die, and then if you do you're character is out an additional 25 points.
If you don't take Resurrection, you get to use those 150 points on something
useful during life, and if you die you can write up a new character who
isn't taking the 25 point hit.

For 150 points, just take Unkillable 3. You can define it as
ressurection if you wish.

But of course presumably one which won't have your accumulated
experience either.
