Question Retail key reactive after reinstall windows

If i buy windows retail key and active it then made new windows installation will the retail key work or i will have to buy another key

It should be tied to the system you've installed it on. So yes it should be activated when you reinstall the OS on the system you speak of. I know that the OEM license keys will be tied to your motherboard's BIOS though so you will need a new license if you migrate platforms(or change the BIOS chip).
