So i recently bought a new laptop (which is Asus X550V, installed windows 10 after i got my hands on) because my previous laptop got battery dead and wont turning on unless i have it plugged with electricity (shamely, the power bricks cable was having a problem, which causing the laptop to charge and un-charge at some period of time).
The thing is, there is a lot of important stuff (obviously) in my previous laptop, and i want it back.

Is there anyway to do it? my guess is that i have to simply plug the drive into a usb using some kind of converter stuff.

Oh, about the previous laptop, it's Acer Aspire V5-552G.

Thanks

Solution
This is what a USB dock is made for.

But if the old one still runs (plugged into the wall), just move the files over via your LAN.
A shared folder...copy, paste, done.

Note...you can't move applications like that.
