Retrive back up files from disc

Hi ave been prompted to back up my files & folders and have done so using 3 dvd r discs and now i have lost my old files & folders. My platform is windows vista thank you for your help Tony

Hi Tony,
Sounds like you moved the files/folders instead of copying them.
Are the files and folders safely on the DVDs?
If so, you can "copy" them back onto your HDD.
