[SOLVED] Retrive not saved word file

Hi everyone,
something really weird happened to me and now I'm kinda in trouble and I really need some help. Today I was writing some notes on office word while talking on the phone and I don't know what happened but my word file just closed without warning, it just disappear. I really need the info I wrote but I can't find the file anywhere since I've never saved it, not even once.
Is it possible to find and restore the file somehow? It is the first time that I've this kind of problem and I've not idea how solve this.

I don't use MS Word on a regular basis, but it should have an auto-recovery option that might have potentially saved the document in a temporary location.

The "Recovering Unsaved Word Documents" section on this page describes a method of accessing these files, though I don't know whether the same method applies to all recent versions of Word. I believe accessing them in some versions of the software might be a little different...

And of course, there's the possibility that the document might not have been open long enough for a recovery file to have ever been made, in which case there's probably not much you could do about it.

Note that site is selling file recovery software, and mentions that option near the bottom of the page, but file recovery software isn't going to help if a file was never made to begin with.

Do a search for all files, including hidden files, starting with a tilde or .tmp made at the time you were working for the file. There may be a remnant of the file stored in one of those formats.
