A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Athlon 64 3500+
2 GB DDR-400
750W PSU
HD 6670

So i'm building this older pc for playing some period specific titles like half life 2 and fear, but the problem i have is that i couldn't order my planned gpu because of the virus and i resorted to using this 6670 that i had lying around. I just wanted to see if works. I power on the pc and with the 6670 it gives me a beep code for "No VGA Detected". I though my mobo died or something so i tested it with a GT 210, and i managed to boot into linux. Then i though the gpu was dead so i tested it in my main build, and it worked there. Can i do anything to resolve this issue or is this gpu too new for this motherboard and just save my time and buy an older card?

Have you tried clearing cmos with no gpu installed then afterwards putting the 6670 in?

Or maybe update bios if there's one available with the 210 and try again?
I cleared the CMOS, still didn't work. There is a newer bios from 2008, ill try it tommorow and post results...
