I have a large Logic Analyzer that is PC-based. I'd like to replace the P3/1ghz/512MB board with something newer. I've got most of the hardware-related, OS-related, driver-related details understood and handled.

I need to identify a motherboard that has exactly the same backplane I/O connector layout as you see in the attached image.

Is there a standard name for this type of layout? It's hard to google or filter based on I/O connector layout.... I don't have the specs on what's required for the mobo,

I don't believe you will find such a newer motherboard. The parallel port is almost extinct. There are a few embedded motherboards that have (had) them -- https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAD7H5EX6438 and you see that is close, but the audio ports are up/down instead of side-to-side.

PCs come with a stamped I/O shield that fits a standard rectangular hole in PC cases. Getting the aluminum piece shown cut to a standard rectangular opening would be my recommendation.

I think that's a good idea. I'd imagine the dimensions of the spread of those connectors have got to be close-ish to those standard openings. I may have some other problems with height for coolers and such, but one problem at a time. Thanks!
