Hi everyone,
I purchased a socket 775 Intel D975XBX2 (BadAxe2) motherboard from Ebay. The board works fine, however I noticed some unusual things about it. The board does not have the blue heat sinks, the 4 SATA ports along the bottom, and the onboard power button. All the contacts on the board are there, but they‘re all missing. Inquiring with the seller got no where and I can find no information if there was an alternate version of the board produced. The board is also printed with all the correct information, also not saying if it’s an alternate revision. I was thinking maybe it’s an OEM version for prebuilt, but I don’t know for sure. Anyone have any ideas?
