Return to Vista from Windows 7

Hello,
I would like to return to Vista because I bought a copy of Windows 7 and I am told ,after having installed it and used it for a while that my product key is invalid and I have to buy a new copy of Windows 7. I would like to go back to Vista which was built into my PC. What do I do?

where did you buy it ebay!those keys are not legit!

Window 7 has software called Choice Guard that has been known to give false positives , it happened to my genuine copy purchased at Tiger Direct . All I had to do is enter activate windows in search programs , select it and click the activate option and I received an activation successful message . If that does not work you may have pirated copy.
