Returning a Hard Drive

So I purchased a Hard Drive and moved 100GB of data onto it.

The write speeds ended up being an average of 20KB/s and I am under the impression it is hard drive itself (as I compared it to my others).

I got a label to ship it back to Amazon, but I am largely worried as my sensitive data was put on it.

Is there anyway to completely ensure it cannot be recovered?

Thanks !

If you ran DBAN you would be erasing everything, it is an entire drive zeroing procedure.

Again I can't compare the two because I haven't used Revo, but I can assure you that DBAN will erase your drive entirely.

Is that better than Revo? I "should" be good?

I had backups from my BTC wallets as well as some other things... Should I run these programs multiple times?

I have not used Revo so I can't compare. One pass of DBAN will erase all trace of your data. If you want to run it twice for good measure you can, though it is not neccessary. Your data will be secured after running DBAN.

I used 'Should' as an informal affirmative and was not intendeding to insinuate doubt. My apologies for the casual tone.

Ok no problem thats great thank you! Would I be able to leave the data that it came with or it would need erase everything?

Either way DBAN > Revo Installer ?
