Returning My CPU

Hey guys so I’m not sure where exactly to post this thread but here it is: I bought an i7-8700K from Best Buy two weeks ago and I’ve been using it in my new PC build, but they just got the i9-9900k in stock and I’ve ordered that to replace my i7. My 8700K qualifies for the holiday extended return policy, so can I return my used 8700K to Best Buy for a full refund (will they accept an opened item and/or will I have to pay a restocking fee)?

for us to know this, we would have to do what you should be doing and that is to just look it up, or better, call them and ask.
only they can tell you whether or not they will accept a return like that.
